Background:
Dr. Homaira Behsudi is Board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians; licensed in the State of Virginia. She grew up in Afghanistan after earning her Medical degree (MD) from Kabul University, Faculty of Medicine, Kabul Afghanistan. She left the country due to war and political threat to her family. After living in India for one year, she settled in the US in 1987 to pursue her career.

  • Assistant Clinical Professor of Health Care Science at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences

She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two children. in her spare time, she enjoys tennis, reading, volunteering and spending time with family and friends.
