The Afghan-American Women’s Association (A-AWA) is a non-profit organization that aims to empower Afghan-American women and children through education, advocacy, and community engagement. We support and promote community programs and activities through our network including Sham-e-Orphan, AAMPA, Afghan Academy, Mustafa Center, among others.
Through partnerships with other local organizations, such as the Afghan Academy and the Mustafa Center, we have been able to expand our outreach and create a greater impact on the community. Through these collaborations, we have been able to provide educational and cultural programs that are tailored to the needs of the local community. These partnerships have helped us to identify the most pressing issues facing the community and develop targeted solutions.
At A-AWA, we value trust, mutual respect, and shared goals when building partnerships and collaborations. We work closely with our partners to ensure that the programs and activities we promote align with our mission and values. Regular communication with our partners is also crucial in evaluating the impact of our programs and identifying areas for improvement.
Partnerships and collaborations with mainstream and local organizations have been essential to our success in empowering Afghan-American women and children. We are committed to building strong partnerships based on trust, mutual respect, and shared goals to achieve our mission effectively.
