A-AWA GAK is responsible for managing A-AWA’s social media presence on Instagram and Twitter. In today’s digital age, social media is a critical tool for raising awareness about the work that A-AWA does. By leveraging these platforms, we are able to inform people about our fundraisers and projects, and provide them with an opportunity to support our cause. Through social media, we are also able to showcase the impact of our work and demonstrate the importance of community support.

A-AWA GAK’s mission is to assist A-AWA in its fundraising efforts by spreading the word to those who want to make a difference in their community. We ensure that people understand the significance of their contributions and the impact it has on those living in poverty. By raising awareness about our cause, we hope to support as many people as possible and make a positive difference in their lives.

The Pen Pal Project is a unique initiative that connects young people living in the United States with their peers in Afghanistan. This project provides a platform for youth to get to know each other and even become friends. Through exchanging letters each month, participants gain a better understanding of each other’s culture and way of life. This program offers an excellent learning opportunity for those who take part, encouraging them to see the world from their pen pal’s perspective.

At A-AWA, we believe in the power of community and collaboration. By utilizing social media and engaging with our youth through the Pen Pal Project, we aim to create a more connected and supportive community. We encourage everyone to get involved and help us make a difference in the lives of Afghan-American women and children.

AAWA GAK (Global Afghan Kids) is a dedicated youth group committed to supporting AAWA through effective social media strategies while creating sustainable projects to assist Afghan youth in adapting to new environments and cultures. Our initiatives include hygiene projects, fostering connections with youth, and promoting educational projects tailored to the unique needs of Afghan youth in the community.

Pen Pal Project

The Pen Pal Project is a way for today’s youth living in the U.S. to meet and connect with Afghanistan’s youth. It provides an opportunity for the youth to get to know one another and even become friends. It is an excellent way for those who participate in looking through life from their pal’s perspective. Every person is partnered up with someone from another country. They then send one another a letter each month and continue getting to know each other. It is a great learning opportunity for those who partake in it.
